Description

This is an easy approach for the go-to ski slopes above Uncle Bud's hut. Head straight north on the ridge behind the hut until you find the Colorado Trail. Follow the trail a short ways until you break out of the trees and get a good view of the mountain to your left.

Leave the trail and head straight west up the slope to the cool, very pointy Point 12,313.
